【my（vacation英语作文）】Last summer, I had the opportunity to go on a vacation that I will never forget. It was a short trip, but it brought me a lot of happiness and unforgettable memories.

I chose to visit my aunt’s house in the countryside. Unlike the busy city life, the countryside offered a peaceful environment with fresh air and beautiful nature. Every morning, I would wake up early and enjoy the sound of birds singing outside the window. The scenery there was so different from what I was used to. There were green fields, small rivers, and lots of trees. It felt like I was living in a painting.

During my stay, I helped my aunt with some daily chores, such as watering the plants and feeding the chickens. These simple tasks made me realize how hard it is to take care of a farm. I also learned how to cook some traditional dishes that my aunt taught me. Cooking together was a fun experience, and I felt proud when I could help prepare a meal.

In the evenings, I often went for walks around the village. I met some friendly neighbors who welcomed me warmly. They shared stories about their lives and the history of the area. It was interesting to learn about their experiences and traditions.

Although the vacation was only a week long, it gave me a chance to relax and reconnect with nature. It reminded me of the importance of slowing down and enjoying the simple things in life. I returned home with a full heart and a new appreciation for the beauty of the countryside.
